Steps to Take If You Are No Longer Receiving Notifications On Your iOS Device

Modified on Tue, 21 Feb 2023 at 05:28 PM

If you find that you are no longer receiving Bryx notifications on your iOS device, please follow the steps outline below to mitigate the issue.

Validate that you do not have Do Not Disturb enabled.

You can check this setting by viewing your focus configuration under your device's Control Center.

Validate that you are on duty:

If you have set yourself to be off duty, you will no longer receive push notifications. In order to change your on/off duty status, you will need to open the Bryx app and then select the bell icon in the upper left-hand corner. From here, you will be able to set yourself as on duty or off duty depending on the desired outcome.

Validate that you have push notifications enabled and that you also have alerts enabled for the desired units within your Bryx app settings.

In order for alerts to function properly, you will need to ensure that you have push notifications enabled within the Bryx app and that each unit you would like to receive alerts for is enabled under your app's alert settings. You can find both of these setting options by selecting the Settings tab in the lower right-hand corner of the display.

Validate that you have enabled Bryx notifications in your iOS system settings.

By default, notifications on iOS need to be allowed in order to function properly. In order to ensure that your Bryx notifications are allowed to feed through properly, open your Settings app, select Notifications, and then select Bryx. From here, make sure that the Allow Notification field is enabled and that you have sounds, banners, and badges enabled if these are desired.
