Setting Custom Tones on Android Devices

You can create and set custom notifications within the Bryx Android App by following the steps outlined below.

Open the Bryx app and select the Settings Icon in the lower right-hand corner. From there, select the option for Manage Notification Channels.

Locate the notification channel you would like to edit and select the option for Configure Notification Channel. This will open a new page where you can adjust the configuration and sound used for notifications. You can perform this with any of the channels provided but we are using the Standard channel in the example below. Using the settings on the configuration screen, you can fully adjust the behavior of alerts using this channel. The Sound option will allow you to change the alert sound to any sound housed on your Android device.

Now that we have a notification channel configured, we can now apply that channel to alerts for specific units. In order to do this, you will need to go back to your Bryx Settings page and select the option for Manage Alert Settings. From here, you can view and edit your Agency/Groups notifications under the Shifts section by selecting the option for Edit Notification Settings.
