Site Surveys are a useful tool for adding informational or critical data to a specific address or area.
To create a Site Survey, you will need management permissions for your Bryx Agency. The Bryx Management site can be reached at manage.bryx911.com.
After signing into the Bryx Management site, you will need to locate the Site Survey tab on the left-hand pane of the screen as seen in the image below:
Upon navigating to the site survey tab, you will see a screen with a search field as well as options to create new site surveys and edit existing site surveys.
To create a new site survey, you will need to select the Create option as seen in the image below:
Creating Site Surveys for a Specific Address:
If you are creating a site survey for a specific address, you will need to enter the relevant location data such as the street address, the city, and the state. After entering this information, you will need to select the magnifying glass icon to search for the address.
After you have specified the address, you can then add critical, advisory, or informational site surveys. Each survey type has a specific purpose:
- Critical surveys will be displayed as a critical warning banner when users view jobs at the specified location.
- Advisory surveys will be displayed as a location advisory in the site survey section when users view jobs at the specified location.
- Information surveys will be displayed as an informational advisory in the site survey section when users view jobs at the specified location.
If you would like to add more than one survey to an address, you can do so by using the Add button located under the advisory and informational fields.
Once all of your information has been added, you will need to save the site survey using the Save button.
Creating a Site Survey using a Boundary:
Using boundaries for a site survey is a useful tool when you need to have the same site survey information for a large area or multiple addresses. You can do this by holding shift while plotting points on the map using your cursor. When you are ready to close your boundary, you can do so by selecting the first point you plotted while continuing to hold shift - This will cause the area to be highlighted in red, indicating that the boundary has been closed. You can now follow the same steps as outlined under the "Creating Site Surveys for a Specific Address" section of this article to add the desired information to any jobs that take place within the boundary created.
Editing an Existing Site Survey:
You can edit an existing site survey but navigating to the site survey tab on the left-hand pane of the Bryx Management site. From here, use the search fields at the top of the screen to search fo the address or area of the site survey that you would like to edit. After searching for the existing site survey, you should see your results near the bottom of the screen.
From here, you can select the desired site survey. This will open a new section where you can edit or remove sections of the site survey. Once complete, use the Save option near the bottom of the screen to save your changes.
